You Could Always Try Something Else Instead of Reading

Lots of people like to do things "the old-fashioned way," and there's nothing wrong with that. Sometimes your forebears figured out the best way to get something done a long time ago, and there hasn't really ever been a good reason to change things up. Until further notice, the best way to make a peanut butter sandwich is to get two slices of bread, spread peanut butter on one and something else (jam, jelly, honey, ketchup, sweet-and-sour sauce) on the other, and slap them together. Eat and enjoy! On the other hand, it doesn't make a ton of sense, in 2016, to still be reading books as either your primary or exclusive approach to preparing for a certification exam. We can all agree that books are awesome. They just aren't the most awesome way, in our modern age, to get your certification study revved up and purring like a kitten.
Books and study guides can be a solid support in your overall study structure. Reading until your eyes fall out of your head, however, just isn't the best (or brightest) way to prepare for a certification exam. That's one big advantage of using TestOut Continuing Education's top-caliber online training. With loads of instructional videos, quizzes, scenarios, and best-in-the-industry simulations, TestOut CE online training is a revolutionary experience for anyone who's used to shelling out $49.95 at Amazon for a study guide and calling it good.
If you've never tried one of our totally affordable courseware options, then you're in for a treat. We aren't even asking you to take our word for it. Consider the case of Tim Jacks of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. (Go Cougars!) After completing a TestOut training course in 2014, Jacks said, "I have never before been taught from video lectures and the experience I had was far better than reading chapter after chapter from a textbook." He also praised the clean, simple navigation, and the simulations.
"The lab activities helped reinforce and apply the knowledge to real world situations," Jacks said.
What will your experience be like? We think that one course will have you hooked. You won't ever go back to staring at a stack of books and just wishing that you could be somewhere else. If you try TestOut CE and love it, or even if you don't — fat chance of that — please tell us about your TestOut experience. You could win a $100 Amazon gift card, just for taking a moment to share your thoughts.
