Linux Pro and Kevin Durant
Posted by TestOut Staff on
Hola, amigos! It’s been a while since I last posted. I hope all my followers out there in Dub Nation had a very Merry Christmas and are planning a wonderful New Year. I know I am. Our Warriors are on their way to another title, just like the one that they won, um, two years ago. Already this year we have a league-leading 31 wins, the best offense in the NBA, the best point-differential in the NBA, as well as a top-five defense. It appears the addition of Mr. Kevin Wayne Durant (KD to his close friends) is working out pretty well. At this rate I’m going to have to buy a pair of KD socks to go along with my lucky Steph Curry pair.
KD is comfortably fitting in with the Warrior culture. He leads the team in both per-game scoring (25.8) and rebounding (8.7). Plus (in spite of what my good friend Jordan claims) he is so not a ball-hog. He averages 4.8 assists per game — third best on the team. #HatersGonnaHate
All championship teams develop a synergy, where the whole becomes greater than the sum of the parts. You see synergy in legendary teams like Magic Johnson’s Lakers, the Michael Jordan Bulls, the current Steph Curry-led Warriors, and the Jazz of Karl Malone and John Stockton. (Although can those Jazz teams truly be considered legendary? Something is missing. Sort of like the championship banners that are missing from Vivint SmartHome Arena. Because the Jazz never won any championships! #SickBurn)
(That’s right, Jordan — zero titles! #RubbingItIn)
You also see synergy in successful companies like Walmart, Apple, and Microsoft. Another company wielding the scalpel of synergism to great effect is our own TestOut Corporation. While we’ve always offered great training courseware, each new addition brings accolades and propels us to new heights.
Our latest achievement is TestOut Linux Pro 4.2.0 being certified CompTIA Approved Quality Content! This means a third party has verified that TestOut Linux Pro covers 100 percent of CompTIA's Linux+ LX0-103 and LX0-104 Certification Exam objectives. CompTIA's approval combined with TestOut's quality and innovation means you can relax knowing you are using the best courseware on the market.
CAQC accreditation is an impressive achievement. Sort of like leading the Warriors in scoring and rebounding. (#ShoutOut #KDisDaBomb) According to CompTIA, it’s “a rigorous approval process that provides candidates assurance that the approved courseware is based on modern instructional design theory with exam objectives correlation. Students, training organizations and educational institutions recognize the CAQC logo as the quality trademark of CompTIA certification materials.”
Like the Warriors, Linux Pro was already the embodiment of greatness. Actually, you could even say that Linux Pro embodies greatness more purely and completely than the Warriors, since Linux Pro did not rack up the highest single season win total in NBA history but then follow up that majestic achievement by committing a heinous #ChokeJob in the NBA Finals after taking a 3-1 lead. (#StillHurts #TheStruggleIsReal #SerenityNow)
Linux Pro still has all the usual high-quality videos, demos, labs, and practice tests. Plus we’ve fixed a few typos and did some minor editing for clarity and accuracy. (My Dubs could have benefitted from following this example of moderation and restraint in the quest for self-betterment. Instead, we overcorrected by panic trading Andrew Bogut and refusing to open up the checkbook for Mo Speights and Harry Barnes. #Bitter #LacobisaCheapskate)
Another sweet aspect of using Linux Pro to prepare for the LX0-103 and LX0-104 certification exams is that IT pros who earn their CompTIA Linux+ certification can receive the LPIC-1 from LPI.
So why settle for two good things when you can have three? Kind of like when KD pulls up at the arc for a killer three-pointer — of which he is shooting 40 percent. #Blessed #TakeThatJordan #AndYouTooJake
