It is a little known fact that there is a THIRD Jonas brother. Actually, there is even a fourth Jonas brother. His name is Frankie and he's about a decade younger than his more famous older siblings. He is also a musician, however, unlike with some famous brothers, where they do not all follow the same path in life. Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, for example, are both musicians and actors, whereas Paul Wahlberg is a chef and owns a restaurant.

Back in the 1880s and 1890s, the era, in the United States, of the first transcontinental railroads, poor workers used to follow rail lines from place to place in search of a job, a handout, or something better than whatever they'd left behind. A culture gradually grew up around these disadvantaged wanderers that persists to this day. Something about so-called "hobos" fires the imagination, and almost everyone is at least passingly familiar with bits and pieces of hobo lore.

You can't have a "palooza" of something unless you're willing to be somewhat heedless and unrestrained. Nobody goes to a palooza expecting an atmosphere of polite conversation, proper conduct, and buttoned down formality. This is probably why most paloozas don't involve tea and crumpets, or tweedy recitations of select passages from The Collected Works of Lady ...

Among the many discoveries of science, we've learned that some things not found mingled in nature are surprisingly beneficial when mixed together. Peanut butter and chocolate, for example. Peanut butter bushes don't even grow in the same soil as chocolate trees — er, or something like that — and look at all of the remarkable products we've created by combining peanut butter and chocolate. The world would be a poorer (as would the world's dentists) without them.

For most people here in the United States, during most of the calendar year, the Internal Revenue Service taketh away. Tax withholding, for nearly all Americans, is as automatic as pouring milk on cold cereal, or contributing to a 401k. It's practically the same thing as contributing to a 401k: you agree to give someone else money with the expectation of getting some back later on.
