2018 is finally here and I hope everyone is ready for an exciting year. The new year is shaping up to be annus mirabillis. Some of the major events we can look forward to include:

Scrolling through online forums about certification has told me a lot about what is on the minds of people wanting to certify. Those starting down the certification path usually have the question of what certification will best help them achieve their career goals. In that vein of thinking, I’m going to tell you how to choose between the CompTIA Network+ certification and Cisco's CCNA certification.

Is there anyone who would argue that a foundation is not the most important part of a building? If so, then I urge you to conduct a quick Google image search on “buildings without a solid foundation.” Spoiler alert: It isn’t pretty.
