If you look up the word "muchness" in any dictionary, the definition given will probably be something along these lines: "greatness, as in quantity, measure, or degree." (Thanks, Dictionary.com!) You also may see the word described as being "Archaic," and or given some other notation to signify that it doesn't get a whole lot of use in 2018. That seems like a shame. Don't we all need to get a little more muchness out of life?

Among the notable births of the year 1988 are Tiffany Two, the world's oldest known house cat (died at age 27 in 2015); Steph Curry, two-time NBA MVP and star point guard of the Golden State Warriors; Adele (birth name: Adele Laurie Blue Adkins), singer-songwriter and one of history's top-selling recording artists; and Japan's famous Tokyo Dome sports venue.

Twenty-four years ago, Microsoft launched one of the best remembered ad campaigns in the history of Madison Avenue. The focus of the campaign, albeit elliptically, was the then-pending release of Windows 95, the 15th iteration of the world's most ubiquitous (even at the time) computer operating system. The tag line, "Where do you want to go today," is still alive and well in the vernacular.

The NCAA tournament bracket is out, colleges across the country are buzzing with excitement, and office conversations have turned to the price of admission to this year’s bracket challenge. The true madness of March is about to begin.

For all my loyal followers (Hi, Mom!) who faithfully read these posts, you know that last week I wrote about how I shamelessly pulled the wool over the eyes of a former boss.
