There was a big scare in the pancake community earlier this year when International House of Pancakes announced that it had decided to officially change its name to International House of Burgers, making a one-consonant transition from IHOP to IHOB. Rarely has a single letter generated so thunderous an outbreak of hysteria and consternation. A month later, the IHOP braintrust was all, "J/K, LOL, U ppl R so fragile and unequipped to deal with our hilarious marketing stunt."

There's a popular drinking game that doubles as a mixer, of sorts, to help party guests get to know each other. Players are seated in a circle. Whoever is taking the first turn says, "Never have I ever," followed by a short description of something that he or she has never done before. Everyone in the circle who has done that thing takes a drink, or eats an M&M, or does whatever other thing the players have agreed on.

Every certification training course we sell here at TestOut Continuing Education is on some level a BOGO. That's "buy one, get one," for those of you not totally in the know about discount shopping parlance. It's not a perfect comparison, but it's close. That's because when you train with TestOut, you have the option to get not one, but two certifications at the end of each course. One is a professional credential from CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco.

So we know how much you all love the IT Insights Blog, and we did just take Friday off at the end of last week. Unfortunately, however, there's more vacation in store for the blog team. Normal operations will resume on Aug. 20. We didn't want to leave you with nothing while we're away, however, so each day this week we'll post a photo of some of the sights we're enjoying, along with a link to a classic IT Insights blog post. Relive the hits, people!

Somewhat frequently in this space, we share details about some of the fun things that happen during the course of a normal year at TestOut (and TestOut Continuing Education). For instance, the whole company goes bowling every year. There's the Steak Fry, the Halloween Party (complete with costume contest and festive office decorations), and the annual three-part Run Bike Hike fitness festivities. We like to have fun and get to know each other better.
