The IT Insights Blog is taking the day off in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Here at TestOut Continuing Education, we often encourage IT professionals and other learners to do something for themselves. It's good to occasionally be reminded, however, of how much other people matter. As Dr. King once said: "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?' "

The IT Insights blog is taking the day off, in honor of the Washington's Birthday (also called Presidents Day) federal holiday. We will be back on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Today, Oct. 31, is the day before All Saints Day, Nov. 1, which is also known as All Hallows Day. So now you can see why Oct. 31 is also called All Hallows Eve, which eventually got slurred and shortened into the "Halloween" we all know and love.
