TestOut's New Client Pro

Posted by TestOut Staff on

Now that All Hallows' Eve has come and gone, goblins, ghouls and IT students everywhere are ready to get serious about the holiday season. In less than three weeks we’ll be enjoying Thanksgiving, gorging on turkey and watching football games. Then one month later the big day arrive — Christmas! In anticipation of frenzied gift-giving TestOut is signaling a December update to their ever-so-useful Client Pro course.

Thumbs Up

The current version of Client Pro does an excellent job of preparing students to take any or all of three separate certification exams:

  • TestOut Client Pro Certification exam
  • Configuring Windows 7 exam (70-680)
  • Configuring Windows 8 exam (70-687)

Passing the Microsoft 70-680 certification exam earns you an MCTS certification, and can also be used as the client operating system requirement for the MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification. Passing the Microsoft 70-687 certification exam counts for credit toward the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 8.

As with all TestOut courseware, Client Pro has loads of informative training videos, demonstrations, practice quizzes, written lessons, and the world-famous LabSim exercises, all to ensure that you can really strut your stuff at that always-intimidating First Day on the Job.

But TestOut’s development team didn’t get to be top shelf by resting on their laurels. They can’t stop fiddling and, like Santa’s elves, just keep making things better. The updated Client Pro will ensure 100 percent coverage of the new objectives for Windows 10, particularly for:

  • Installing and Configuring Windows 10 exam (70-698)
  • Configuring Windows Devices exam (70-697)

Training for the 70-697 and 70-698 exams with the updated Client Pro will have the added benefits of giving students more hands-on experience with Windows 10 — making them better job candidates, plus instructors get an all-in-one training solution to help their students earn the MCSA: Windows 10 Certification.

TestOut promises to provide more information in the near future. So be good little boys and girls and check back here for updates. The new-and-improved Client Pro release is scheduled for December 20. That means students will have four whole days to study before St. Nick shows up.
