On Sunday night, Tom Brady (Remember him?) became the only four-time Super Bowl MVP in NFL history, leading the New England Patriots to a 34-28 come-from-behind victory. (Poor Matt Ryan. The recently crowned regular season MVP now must bear the indignity of being the fall guy for a team that led 28-3 in the waning minutes of the third quarter and lost the game anyway. Have you seen the Golden State Falcons logo flying around the internet? 28-3 is the new 3-1.)

Some believe the term derived from the popular board game Chutes and Ladders, while others claim its origins must come from the playground pastime hopscotch. Linux is somewhat unique in the IT realm on account of its remarkable variation. There's a different kind of Linux for ... almost anything. Microsoft struck a memorable chord in the mid-1990s with its "Where do you want to go today?" ad campaign, but Microsoft's signature Windows OS is really just one thing to all people. It's actually Linux, with its explosive array of "distros," that has the all things to all people cachet Microsoft was hinting at.
