Let's Brave School Shopping Together
Posted by TestOut Staff on
When I drove up to my neighborhood Walmart last night and saw an abnormally crowded parking lot – I should have immediately turned my car around and sought shelter. I shrugged off the aberration and walked inside to complete my routine shopping stop.
As I stepped through the automatic sliding doors, my senses were immediately bombarded. The site of hundreds of people frantically walking from shelf to shelf and bin to bin hit my eyes, the sound of yelling – crying and disappointed murmuring penetrated my ears, and the smell of adrenaline pumped human’s filled my nostrils. Then it dawned on me – I was in the middle of back to school shopping.
I again had a chance to turn around and leave the scene for good, but my better judgement was thwarted by my courage, and for some reason I decided to brave the storm. I could barely find anything I needed on the well picked over shelves, and when I needed help it was nowhere to be found. The poor employees were likely cowering within a nearby clothing rack with their hands over their ears reciting something along the lines of; “Just find your happy place, find your happy place!”
Back to school shopping can be a difficult time for students (and parents), but it is also a time for saving. Department stores like Walmart are trying to ease the financial burden of back to school shopping, and TestOut Continuing Education (TestOut CE) is looking to do the same. For all who are wanting to become certified outside of the traditional school setting, TestOut CE is offering a free trial on all of its courses. So rather than spending money on online training before you even know what it has to offer, you can try any of the following courses for free:
Microsoft Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 Training
Microsoft Administering Windows Server 2012 Training
Microsoft Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Training
The best part about this back to school offer is that it can all be taken care of online. There is no need to brave the storms of the local discount department store. Just sit back in your office chair, and save away.
